Rason Economic Trade Zone is located in the northeast part of DPRK and it adjoins Hunchun city, Jilin province in China and Hassan in Russia. 

Rason city has already equipped with infrastructure facilities including harbor, road, railway, communication etc.

It is planned to establish this zone as the comprehensive region of intermediate processing trade with 4 pillars of intermediate trade, export processing, finance and service.
