Types of business: research, development and introduction of nano and new material, field of biological engineering, production and export of advanced technical goods, display and exchange of advanced technology. 

Unjong advanced technology development zone aims at forming a development zone that combines with processing trade and commercial service activities while majoring in information technology, Nano and new material, advanced industry of biological engineering and establishment of manufacturing base of advanced industrial equipment.

It is divided into two areas for development.

There are agencies of main basic research and application research, middle pilot factories, information service bases, university of natural science in the Unjong science region where the State Academy of Science is located and thousands of well-qualified scientific and technical talents are employed there.

These research agencies have the experience to develop and produce advanced technical goods based on the main success of advanced sci-tech sector achieved in the agencies. Therefore, they have a fixed basis for the establishment of a unified advanced technical development zone that combines with R&D, production and sale.
