Korea Mangyong Sogam Trading Company located in Sonnae-dong, Mangyongdae District, Pyongyang, DPRK, is now carrying on brisk business activities.

Founded in June 1990, the company is mainly engaged in development and sale of various kinds of medicines and health foods prepared from scores of medicinal plants such as Kaesong Koryo Insam, barrenwort, acanthopanax and other world-famous Korean herbal medicines.

Equipped with a scientific and germ-free processes for producing Koryo medicinal extracts, the base is designed to produce and provide medicines and health foods of excellent quality whose efficacy and safety are fully guaranteed and the production equipment and facilities are modernized to conform to the standard for medicine production and quality management(GMP).

The quality control in its entire production processes ranging from access to raw materials to packing are conducted in accordance with the standard for quality guarantee and the strict inspection system is established in all production processes. As a result, the company was awarded the State certificate (GMP).

Supported by strong think-tank of pharmacologists who have acquired rich experience and high technical skills in research and development of medicines, the company is making every effort to guarantee the quality and quantity of products on a high level and has won several patent certificates.

The company is developing various types of medicines that suit the customers’ needs in the form of  pills, taffies, granules, capsules, tablets and liquids. 

The company has developed several kinds of quality medicines and health foods, which have been officially registered in and legally protected by WIPO(Geneva, Switzerland).
