  The Jongsong General Pharmaceutical Factory, equipped with modern and comprehensive production lines, is a GMP authenticated production base of medicines, health foods and medical supplies.

  The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who visited the factory in November Juche 103(2014), gave precious teachings on the issues of producing and supplying various kinds of medicines in large quantities and further improving products’ efficacy, saying that the advantages of socialism should be demonstrated by real life through the benefits of the socialist health system, not by rhetoric.

  In hearty response to his instructions, the officers and workers of the factory have achieved great successes by conducting strenuous struggles.

  With several branches that produce liquors, injections, tablets and traditional medicines, medical research and inspection centers, pharmacies and other medicine suppliers across the country, the factory has already established comprehensive and perfect system organically combining R&D with production and marketing.

  In particular, the urokinase and other medical products of the factory are increasing in demand day by day.
