1. Description of the project

1.1. Name of the project

Functional Tangle Foodstuff Factory in Kangryong Marine Industrial Park.

1.2. Purpose

By building Functional Tangle Foodstuff Factory in Kangryong Marine Industrial Park and producing sea functional foodstuff with 20 000 tons of tangle, it is aimed to contribute to the improvement of the people`s life.

1.3. Location and Area

- Location: Pupho area, Kangryong County, South Hwanghae Province, DPRK

Pupho area is positioned at 16.1km away from the town situated in the south west area of South Hwanghae Province.

-Total site area: 15000m²

1.4. Advantages of the project

- The factory will be constructed in Pupho-ri,Kangryong County, South Hwanghae Province, covering an area of 15000m² close by the sea, so that it can  immediately  process tangle weeds without getting the weeds bad or contaminated in quality.

- Pupho sea breeding workshop has a quay, soit is very easyto transport the products quickly by sea or by truck. Since this area is favorable for sea breeding, the factory can get full amount of sources needed for the production.

1.5. Current Situation

1.5.1. Infrastructure 

- Since electric power line of 110kV is installed to the town, it is possible to supply electric power. Informatic and mobile telecommunication are operated by optical telecommunication network.

-Reservoir nearby provides the water source and there is plenty of underground water resource as well.

- The roads are linked to the many directions through Kangryong County by the road of Kangryong-Pupho  4th grade(16.1km). It is 2km away from the Pupho station  and it is 1km away from Pupho port.

1.5.2. Withdrawal of  household and enterprises

At present there are no withdrawal of household and enterprises in the construction area.

1.6.1. Type of the business: Salted tangle weed, dried tangle weed functional foodstuff

1.6.2. Scale

-Annual output:  salted tangle weed: 1400t

dried tangle weed functional foodstuff:1100t

-Construction Size: Total site area:15000m²

(Building area:4000m², Total floor area:5000 m²)

Office building, raw material and product warehouse, processing building, packaging building, water purification building, disinfection building, cultural and welfare building.
