1. Purpose of the project

    To increase annual coal production by realizing technical modernization of Chongnam shaft coal mine and to operate thermal power station for households and to produce gasoline, diesel oil with the high caloric coal abundant in this area.

2.     Location of the project: Ryongrim-ri, Mundok County, South Phyongan Province

3.     Investment details 

    -   complete set of coal dressing plant with annual capacity of several million tons

    -   complete sets of thermal power generating facilities to produce electricity for households with low caloric coal .

    -  complete set of facilities for production of oils with high caloric coal

4. Type of investment: Equity or Contractual joint venture

5. Proposer: Korea Foreign Investment and Economic Cooperation Committee
