The project is planned to build a modern and intensified agricultural development zone majoring in agricultural scientific research development base including agri-stock breeding, seed-selection, breeding introduced by chain circulation production system.

Development Mode: 

-Joint Development by relevant Korean enterprise and foreign investor in form of JV

- Establishment of wholly foreign-owned developing enterprise.

Term of Land Lease: 50 years at maximum

Total Investment: About US$ 70 million 

Location: Some parts in Ryongchon-ri, Orang County, North Hamgyong Province. (East longitude: 129° 37′~129° 38′, North latitude: 41° 25′~41° 26′)

Condition of Infrastructure: There will be no problems in the installation of international communication network and Orang River is a great source for irrigation water and life water.

It has a perfect condition for crops growth.

Project Plan: It is planned to introduce the modern chain circulation production system majoring in farming, stock breeding and fishing. It is also planned to build the agricultural scientific research base including seed-selection and breeding and modern high-efficiently by using  greenhouses with water saving & non-soil vegetables. The zone also has a good condition for farming in the eastern coast area and the quality of the rice and fruit is well known. By combining the geographic characteristics and traditional history, the agricultural development zone shall mainly concentrate on farming and stockbreeding along with primary processing of crops. 

If a try-out turns out to be successful, agricultural development zone will be expanded to the surrounding area to develop fruit farming in addition. The fish production shall be increased and fish processing industry be built by using the natural lake called "Jangyon'' and the sea.
