This zone is planned and designated as a tourist development zone to provide various services around famous places including sight-seeing, physical training, climbing and so on.

Development Mode: 

-Joint Development by relevant Korean enterprise and foreign investor in form of JV

- Establishment of wholly foreign-owned developing enterprise.

Term of Land Lease: 50 years at maximum

Total Investment: approximately US$ 40 million 

Location: Some areas of Phyonghua-ri, Sinphyong County, North Hwanghae Province situated at the foot of Mt. Mannyon, the Kubiryong Mountain Chain and along the basin of Doha stream, which flows into River Nam. (East longitude 126°47′, North latitude 38°52′)

Condition of Infrastructure: The zone is covered by mountains and also with deep valleys and steep inclines and thus, it shall be a good place for tourism. 

There are few buildings and attachments to be removed so it’s favorable for development to speed up.

Project Plan: It is planned to establish modern tourist development zone providing services such as the circulation tourism which includes climbing, sight-seeing, enjoying wonderful scenery of mountain peaks, cliffs, water falls, tourist service on Mt. Talhae and Munsongjin, well-known as historic relics. It is also planned to develop complex tourist services including all kinds of sports and entertainments, games, physical training, accommodation and Korean special food in order to attract many customers.
